Reading through posts and looking for inspiration. Quadrille poem — nope. Spoons — fascinating, but no. Gauge — zero inspiration.
Twilight! I was looking for that word just the other day!
I was trying to tell a friend about the books that I read 15 years ago in order to relate to the teenage girls I was coaching. I said to my friend, “You know, the really stupid vampire series.”
She looked at me and said dryly, “There’s a lot of them.”
“This one was like Harlequin Romance with a vampire twist,” I said.
“That describes most of them,” she said.
“They were pretty terrible,” I said.
She nodded in agreement.
But I couldn’t think of the name.
It didn’t matter. Neither of us were vampire romance fans.
But now I have the name! Twilight!
I’ll tell her tomorrow.

Wrote my post — checked that box. Way over 23 words — did NOT check that box. Sigh.
Oh! I have written a series of Vampire stories and poems… I love Vampires and werewolves…. And I do love twilight though my vampires are not twee at all.
Oh! One of my favourite songs is from Twilight
Oh! Please watch this one too it’s really special
💜💜💜💜
For you, I will watch them 😊
OH MY GOODNESS! Loved that second video!! Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you especially the second one 💜💜💜
I remember when my oldest daughter and her friends were into these movies and books. Thye would fight over team Jacob and team Edward. I took them to a 1 oclock in the morning showing of Eclipse.
You are such a good mom. They were not my cup of tea. Fortunately for me, they were not my then-15-year-old daughter’s interest either..
Once I took one of my daughters to hear two guys who had a podcast or something. SO MANY SCREAMING GIRLS. It was a true trial. And I fell asleep during their show — that shows how engaged I was.
It was insane how Twilight took over. My youngest daughter has now hit the crazed all these years later. Her sister sent her a copy, I returned the favor by sending my grand daughter a video set of the Big Comfy Couch.
Ugghhh. Those books. Those movies.
Watched the first to see what the fuss was about. Two hours of my life I’ll never get back.
