Day 3 — Beautiful Moments
Yesterday, when I got home, I saw a visitor in my yard. I’ve seen him before, but today he lingered and I could admire his beautiful coat. I couldn’t smell him, so I think he hadn’t sprayed. He was oblivious to me as he searched for grubs and bugs in the yard. When he finally spotted me, he turned tail and…. ran.
I’m challenging myself to find a beautiful moment each day for a week. This happened on Tuesday. How about you? Did you have a beautiful moment yesterday?

I am glad the skunk had not sprayed — his/her fur is really pretty!!
Once they spray, they carry that odor with them for the rest of their life. That skunk as a particularly beautiful coat I think.

Honestly, when I posted the video I hadn’t even put on the sound. The bird song is always there in my yard. I wake up in the morning to the robins, sparrows, and indigo buntings. Some nights as I’m falling asleep I hear the owls. You’ve reminded me of something that I take for granted and shouldn’t. Thank you!
